스페이스바 SpaceBA (유한책임회사 대표 송지선, 비영리단체 대표 임도원)은 현대미술작가(신기운, 임도원, 하석준, 류지영, 김희선)와 김현정 공간 디자이너, 노재윤 법률자문가 그리고 2명의 기획자(곽혜영, 송요비)가 함께 운영하고 있는 영리/비영리 예술공간이다. 예술가의 삶과 작업공간의 고민에서 출발하였으며 다양한 국제교류프로젝트와 도시와 사람, 시간과 공간, 그리고 기술과 노동에 관련된 프로젝트를 지원하며 협업한다. 공간이 위치한 세운상가중 중심으로 예술인들의 활동을 위한 다양한 예술서비스도 제공하고 있다.
SpaceBA(CEO Song Jisun, Director_Im do One) is LCC/non-profit-organisation located in Sewoon SangGa in Seoul. This space has managed by 10 creators; 5 artists (Im Do One, Ha Seok-Jun, Shin Kiwoun, JY Reu), Roh Jae yoon law consultant, Kim Hyunjung Space Designer and 2 curators Hyeyoung Justina Gwak, Song Yovi since 2014. it starts from an artist’s life and studios problem and they are running several international exchange project.
곽혜영은 현대미술사를 전공하고 갤러리와 미술관 등에서 인턴, 큐레이터로 2008-2009년 한국문화예술위원회(아르코지원컨설팅센터)에서 시각예술코디네이터로 활동하며 국제교류사업 등에 관심을 가지게 되었다. 이후 예술경영지원센터에서 한국미술 온라인 글로벌 플랫폼인 ‘더아트로(TheArto)’를 기획 운영하였고 2014년 부터 세운상가 Space_ba에서 공동디렉터로 활동하며 ‘예술과 재난’ , ‘서울서울서울’ 프로젝트 기획과 ‘말하지 않은 것들’전 등 전시기획을 꾸준히 하고 있다. 최근에는 2017년 작가미술장터 개설사업에 선정되어 공동기획으로 ‘스쾃성수 SQUAT SEONGSU’를 개최하였다. 현재 여러 예술 콘텐츠 사업에 자문과 컨설팅을 하고 있다.
Hyeyoung Gwak achieved her MA in Art History at Ehwa Women's University. She worked for Visual Art Coordinator in Art Council of Korea and created and managed the Korean Art Global Platform named, theAtro, in foundation Kore Art Management Service. In 2014, she worked for APAP(Anyang Public Art Project) with Art Council Korea as a planning and management officer at Public art 2.0 project in digital archive programme development. Currently, She has been a director of SpaceBA in Sewoon Sangga, Seoul since 2014. She organised artist market named, SQUAT SEONGSU in 2017. She works as a consultant and advisor in many art contents project
