엄채윤

엄채윤은 사물에 대한 기존의 인식을 넘어, 사물 자체의 본질과 가능성을 탐구한다. 본 작업은 일반적으로 보관 용도로 사용되는 '용기'를 새로운 시각으로 재해석하는 실험이다. 빛을 투과하며 면 하나가 뚫려 있는 직육면체 형태의 오브제를 통해 언어적 사유를 벗어난 순수한 사물로서의 존재를 제시한다.

Eom Chaeyun explores the nature and possibility of the object itself beyond the existing perception of it. This work is an experiment that reinterprets 'container', which is generally used for storage purposes, with a new perspective. It presents its existence as a pure object outside of verbal thinking through a rectangular parallelepiped-shaped object that transmits light and has one side open.
